CHESTERFIELD TOWNE CENTER ANNOUNCES COLDWATER CREEK, RED ROBIN AND EXTERIOR RENOVATION

RICHMOND, Va. – Nov. 13, 2007 – Chesterfield Towne Center announced today the addition of Coldwater Creek and Red Robin, as well as planned exterior building, hardscape and landscaping renovations on the Huguenot Road side of the regional shopping center.

“The addition of these highly regarded national retailers at Chesterfield Towne Center is a strong indication of our commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers,” said Tom Coover, senior property manager at Chesterfield Towne Center. “Along with these additions, we are moving forward with exterior renovations that are pedestrian friendly and include more outward-facing retail and dining options.”

Coldwater Creek, a retailer of women's apparel, gifts, jewelry, and accessories, will be located near the north entrance of Chesterfield Towne Center. The store will feature both interior and exterior entrances. This will be the first Coldwater Creek location in Chesterfield County and it is expected to open during the 2007 holiday season.

Red Robin is a casual dining restaurant that serves an innovative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers in a family-friendly atmosphere. The new restaurant will be constructed near the Food Court entrance and is expected to open in spring 2008.

Exterior renovations will extend from the new Barnes & Noble (opening spring 2008) around to the north entrance of Chesterfield Towne Center. Plans call for new sidewalks, outward-facing retail, new landscaping, a re-facing of the operations building and a small pedestrian plaza. Additionally, the shopping center will construct new men's, women's and family restrooms, and relocate mall management offices to the renovated operations building. While some changes will come as new retailer locations are constructed, much of the hardscape, landscape and restroom construction will begin January 2008 and should be complete in the second quarter.

“The great thing about the changes that are taking place at Chesterfield Towne Center, is that we will be able to offer the outdoor shopping experience, along with a traditional enclosed mall, that is still appealing to many people,” said Coover. “Chesterfield Towne Center will be a unique shopping destination for Richmonders.”
