Phoenix - Aug. 28, 2007 - Crave no more!
SanTan Village will have shoppers covered with dining options that span an international gamut. Today, the Valley's newest super regional shopping destination is announcing 14 new quick-serve eateries that will make their home in the indoor dining hall and throughout the property. This stellar group brings the number of announced restaurants and retailers at SanTan Village to more than 70. The center sits off Williams Field Road and Loop 202 and opens Oct. 26.
A key highlight of Gilbert's all-outdoor SanTan Village is the 28,000-square-foot indoor food court - dubbed the SanTan Cafés. The indoor dining hall spills out onto the pedestrian plaza near Harkins Theatres. The beautiful glass building will feature WiFi and houses a variety of shopper amenities, including family restrooms and guest services.
“The SanTan Cafés will offer a wide variety of great eats that will have a little something for everyone,” said Kim Choukalas, vice president, development leasing, Westcor. “The variety of food choices is amazing and spans the range from Greek to healthy Mexican to Philly cheese steaks. We know how important a large range of choices is for families. This great collection makes the SanTan Cafés a perfect spot for all.”
SanTan Cafés:
New eateries spread around the center:
"Our authentic ‘killer' cheese steaks are made with the best ingredients to deliver that perfect Philly flavor," said Giovanni Caranci, of Corleone's. "Our other Valley locations have lunch lines out the door, and now, people in Gilbert won't have to travel far to get their hands on our creations that are made with thinly sliced rib eye steak, the right combination of seasonings, oils and, of course, Cheese Whiz."
Strategically Selected Flavors
SanTan Village's dining scene is spread throughout the center and encompasses both sit-down restaurants and a variety of quick-serve eateries. The mix was strategically selected to ensure a synergetic experience on all levels. These crave-able dining names include Gordon Biersch, Cantina Laredo, The Keg, Brio Tuscan Grille, Blue Wasabi sushi, Johnny Rockets and Paradise Bakery.
SanTan Village's four other newest additions - Maui Wowi, Dairy Queen, Auntie Anne's and Yogurberry - aim to serve the desire for quick, family friendly eats.
"We are bringing a taste of Hawaii to Gilbert with our all-natural fresh fruit smoothies, Kona coffee and espresso drinks," said Jodi Levisohn of Maui Wowi. "Maui Wowi also offers genuine Hawaiian merchandise in a fun and friendly environment that embodies the true Aloha Spirit. We are excited to bring a touch of the Islands to SanTan Village, where the retail mix complements our offerings."
The vast majority of the restaurants located in the indoor dining hall that were announced today will open in October. Blue Burrito Grille, Blue Wasabi and Cantina Laredo are expected to open in winter 2007. The Keg and Brio Tuscan Grille will open in spring 2008.
