The Macerich Company Announces Third Quarter Conference Call Information

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Macerich Company (NYSE: MAC), today announced that it will release third quarter earnings results before market opens on Friday, November 3, 2006. A conference call is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET on November 3, 2006 to discuss the quarterly results. Arthur Coppola, president and chief executive officer of The Macerich Company and Thomas E. O'Hern, chief financial officer will host the call.

Interested parties can listen to a live web cast of the call on The Macerich Company web site at www.macerich.com or www.earnings.com. To listen, please go to the web site at least fifteen minutes prior to the start time of the call in order to register, download and install any necessary audio software.
